Brake Pad Packaging
Physical mock-ups are a huge advantage over renderings when selling the value add included in a packaging concept. For this project I needed to design and new brand/image and produce one-off mock-ups for a sales pitch to a national automotive parts retailer. The design of this package needed to fit into an existing brand family visually yet set itself apart as being a top line product. This new line of brake pads included a complimentary roadside assistance program with each purchase. The perforated insert inside the box was designed be removed and used as a mirror hanger and included information on the program. This pitch concept also included a finished counter mat that helped to educate on the positioning of the brand within existing product lines. Mock-up production required laminating large format prints onto existing box structures for final pieces. Counter mats were created with the same process, all work was finished by hand.
